I can almost feel the Summer Of Free coming up, and boy I need it! My geek-spending has gotten a little out of control lately (curse you Thunderstone!!) and I need to do some catching up. But there are a bunch of free online games I'm itching to try now that I have a PC that will run them, so I may just challenge myself to not buy a new game until the fall.
That will mean waiting on Kingdoms of Amalur and Mass Effect 3, but my RPG itch was scratched so effectively with Skyrim, and I've still got plenty to do after "finishing it" (not to mention all the FREE games I'm excited to try) that right now that goal doesn't seem very daunting.
Since dropping cable in the fall I've also discovered a number of online shows worth linking to. My bet is that this "Summer Of Free" will be the best one yet!
