The Snyder Cut!

I've just watched the Snyder Cut panel at DC Fandome and have seen the trailer. It looks like everything I could have hoped for and more. And Zach promised that those of us outside the USA will be able to see it as they're working on an international distribution deal.



Some takeaways:
* It will be a 4-part series. At the end they'll edit it together into a 4 hour movie so you can watch it in one go.
* Zach revealed that Flash will do something "Timey" with his abilities.
* I'm loving the improved Steppenwolf and Darkseid looks great.
* Looks like there will be improved scenes between Lois and Martha, different to those we saw in the theatrical cut.
* Powerful dramatic stuff between Cyborg and his father.
* Flash has more to do than crack dumb jokes.
* Batfleck seems more .... Batfleck-ish.
* We see Barry saving Iris.
* Plenty of Biblical allusions with the song "Hellelujah" playing throughout the trailer.

Basically, I can't wait.

Is the girl Barry saves in the trailer confirmed to be Iris? I noticed that she's African American like in the TV show (as opposed to Caucasian in the comics and cartoons).

Although it looks like there's a chance the Flash movie might re-cast the role.

One panel I missed live was Black Adam. I caught a replay somebody put on youTube this morning.
Turns out this movie will be introducing the JSA to the DCEU. Interesting.

Sweet! My next agenda item is to review all the panels and info I missed over the weekend (I video captured most of it while doing other things), and this sounds like an especially cool thing to look forward to!

No DC Fandome video in the works for me, but I will take notes and blab my thoughts at you guys on the podcast Friday.
