When White told Merikk that he would "die a grandfather on that day" Did she mean he would die the day his Grandchild was born or just die some time after he became a grandfather?

Good question! She wasn't specific. Merikk will die on April 11th, 2398. Whether his first grandchild is born that day or sometime before then is open to speculation, though he WILL be a grandfather on that day.

Will spirit blade 3 answer this question (I doubt you'll answer that question) also what year does spirit blade takes place?

Foo. Here I am on vacation and my timeline is on my computer at home. But I can give you a rough, unofficial answer. My intent was that 2398 put Merikk in his 80s. He was 16 when he was a popular "Necro" artist and I think he is in his late 20's or early 30's as of the the end of Dark Ritual.

All I can say for now is that Spirit Blade 3 may or may not answer your first question more specifically. But I can tell you that the prophecy will be dealt with definitively in Spirit Blade 3.

Was Merikk born or conceived on April 11th? The ancient rabbis believed that truly great persons died on either their birthday or the day they were conceived ... that's actually the origin for the date of Christmas because it's nine months after Jesus was crucified.
